Parent's Room

One of the nurses caught me having a wee cry today when I was cuddling Ethan. She was concerned that something was wrong and kept probing me and I found it hard to explain that they were happy tears! Ethan had been crying and stopped when I picked him up and just gazed up at me for ages. That was enough to make me melt - hormones, eh!

Later in the day the staff asked if I wanted to stay overnight in SCBU so I could do full time breastfeeding throughout the night. Once you've done that for 48 hours with no problems, as long as baby is still putting on weight, then they let you go home. So went home to pick up some clothes etc and settled in for the next few days. Fingers crossed all will go to plan!
