One daze at a time...

I know, I know...

... you had a similar one in Birmingham.
Actually, it was not a similar one. It was the one.
Dublin Corpo bought it on e-bay.
They typed in "pedestrian bridges" and kept their fat little useless fingers crossed.
Et voila!

They are now working hard on their twinning efforts with Salt Lake City.
They hope that this will help sort the gritting shortages problems.

We were down to 4mm at 11am and were hoping that the school would reopen before March 24th because Luca is beginning to seriously miss his mates.

But a dreadful snow shower brought the depth of the white blanket to 6mm.
We have been assured that the Armed Forces are on stand-by. At 9mm they are unleashed on the snow flakes.
I'd be sh**t*ng myself right now if I were a snowflake to be dropped on Ireland.
Some of these guys have been despatched to Lebanon. They learned snow-flake close combat in Lebanon.

At the lunchtime meanwhile, the main shopping artery in Dun Laoghaire was packed with teachers (having been one I can sniff them out from miles away). Their concern for the safety and welfare of the kids seemed to dampen their shopping enjoyment, the poor things...

On a side note, while raiding the kids Christmas chocolate stash, I realised two things:
a- the Lindt chocolate reindeer would have been wasted on their yet underdeveloped tasting buds
b- the said reindeer looks suspiciously like the Lindt Easter Bunny. Without the golden foil on, you could mistake one for the other.
I wonder if there is much inbreeding going on in the Lindt factory... Now where is the "Contact Us" link on their webshite....
