DANGER THIN ICE
My sister and I took a wee wander around Inverleith Park this afternoon. The pond is completely frozen over and there were lots of folks running around on the ice, sledging, skating, playing Ice Hockey. It was really sweet to watch all the fun :o)
Lovely as it looked, however, we went for the safer option of not playing on the dangerously thin ice and risk plunging into the freezing water!
Luckily the ducks and swans still had their own wee separate unfrozen area and didn't seem too perturbed :o)
Lots more frozen pond and swan photos here!
Last night my very good friend Happy Daze came round with lots of fizzy good and we had a fab catch-up session :o) Neither of us drink that much these days so after a bottle of fizzy pink followed by a bottle of fizzy white and topped off with a bottle of What the hell red we were very merry indeed!
Fortunately some good sense prevailed and we managed to call it a night before we found ourselves dancing on a tabletop somewhere!
LOL How mature and civilized are we these days?!! ;o)
Thanks for a brilliant night and very fine chats indeed Mrs D! xxx
