Perplexed Ophelia
It was military operation time of the week, otherwise known as the weekly shop. So got ourselves ready, got kids dressed in snow suits, Offy strapped to Mary in the carrier. I pulled Gracie on the sled down the hill. Clean snow off car, reverse carefully away from snowbank. Drive to supermarket, shop, drive home. Drop Mary and Ophelia at bottom of hill to walk back home, try and drive up backway as snow seems to have been cleared, hit a white out at the top and get stuck, reverse all the way down the hill on to main road. Drive back to bottom of hill, park car in usual spot, carry Gracie up the hill. Meet Mary's brother who had come to look for us, he tells us Mary has gone other way to look for us, put Gracie in house with Grandad, go back to look for Mary, find her, put them all in the house. Boil kettle, defrost quad trailer and attach it to quad, get bin bags and hop on back of quad and drive down the hill with Mary's brother to car. Decant all the shopping bags into bin bags and put into quad trailer. Lock car and drive back up hill, put shopping in house. Phewww. So it took over four and a half hours to do something that normally takes an hour and a half. You can understand why I don't want it to snow anymore. At least I've got my beautiful girls to keep me smiling :)
