Chatelherault

Up with the lark thanks to MP (!), so used the time to do a bit of catch up work and enjoy cup-after-cup of tea.

After a visit from neighbour LD to arrange eco-friendly car transport for the evening, we ventured off to Chatelherault in Hamilton to walk/run the legs of MP.

Evening entertainment was a pre-threatre meal, then a quick hop, skip and a jump over the road to the Kings to watch the Chinese State Circus. Highlight for me was the the impressive "shimmying up a drainpipe" act.

Bit disconcerting to see the performers leaving by the stage door though, hobbling, bandy-legged and then seeing one on crutches! Bet they were glad it was their penultimate performance.
