Took Louie for some gun dog training with Annette. Or rather - I went for some training with Annette. We don't have any aspirations to go out shooting wabbits or anything - but he'll / we'll end up really well trained and the working / retrieving bits will be good for stopping him getting bored.

Predictably, the assessment from the first session is that we have absolutely ruined him - but now that he is 6 months old we can start work. Annette really knows her stuff (one of her dogs just came first in a national competition at 18 months old) - so it will be amazing to learn from her. I think I'm going to really enjoy it.
