Twists & Turns

Winding through this thing called life, we don't always take the straight and most direct route. Some of us go off in different directions, trying this and trying that.

These were my thoughts as I looked closely at this yarn tonight. A machine twisted fibers until they became one and another machine turned the finished product around and around until it became a skein of yarn that could then become something else.

Life is like that, I think. I'm still in the twisting-fibers stage. I am not sure I look forward to the 'round & 'round stage, although becoming something else sounds pretty good.
