CSI: Jellybaby

Rather uneventful day today.

Spent the evening babysitting the son of one of my colleueges. Was MUCH harder work than I'd been anticipating. How on earth do you make an 8 year old go to bed when he flat out refuses? Thinking back to when I was little, if someone I didn't know very well asked me to do something, particularly if they were looking after me, I'd have done it without question. But he was having none of it. He knew I could do absolutely nothing and completely played on it. He eventually went to sleep but not without a fight. It's put me off kids a little bit. ;)
