Winter colours

Last night's midnight blue was turned to a more electric shade this morning.

We thought that we might actually get a heavy snowfall last night, maybe even enough to build a snowman.... but nope, just a dusting and that was banished by the sunshine by lunchtime.

It was very tempting to take the camera and a flask of hot coffee and spend the day in the great outdoors. I resisted and just stuck the camera out of the window.
