Virgin train from Euston to Lime Street, M&S Simply Food goodies keeping us fed and watered, and before long we were pulling in to Liverpool for the start of our Beatles themed city break.

Trigger Happy Fi wasn't far behind from Polska, and before long we were ticking off Matthew Street / The Cavern Club, then heading to the Albert Dock for a drink or two and a catch up. Help we thought, as all restaurants were booked up, but we thought we can work it out, so take-away curry in the apartment was a great 2nd choice - all you need is bhajis - they didn't let us down. A very pleasant start to the jaunt. Arf.
