Science Fair

After nearly a month of observing caterpillars grow and form their chrysalides, A presented her display at her school science fair tonight. It was a little disappointing that the butterflies haven't yet emerged, but they are anticipated any day now. Regardless, lots of kids and parents were very interested in A's project and she was proud.

We also had a nice time checking out the other projects, and viewing the "traveling planetarium" show that was set up in the gym. The highlight of the night was being stationed next to A's classmate S's display - he had experimented with different types of bubble solution and had supplies for everyone to create bubble-blowing cones. A and E both loved blowing bubbles, along with hordes of other elementary schoolers and their siblings!
