Embedded orchid
The snow lies deep on top of our wee "food cellar" in the allotment garden. Hopefully that means that the Pleione orchid and the Pieris or Japanese Andromeda that we planted there last summer are both well protected against the winter cold.
Today was the first time for more than a month that M could visit the allotment. He is now almost fully restored after a terrible flu and was very pleased to see the place again. The weather was amazing!
Z did a bit of shovelling again, to keep the paths to and around the wee house clear.
One Year Ago: Spring has somehow sprung
