Weeping Willow

Perhaps it's because I live in a dry district that I am drawn to water when I go elsewhere. Moving water fascinates me. I love the sound of it.

When I was at Glentui, sitting on a rock by the creek in the ravine, I made a little movie. With my son's help I extracted the sound of babbling, copied and pasted it until it was 30 minutes long, removed some of the high pitched sounds, and then put it on my iPod. It is the most delicious, relaxing sound.

We had rain today, the first for three weeks. Things were getting a bit dry, but I would have been happy if the fine weather went on for longer.
