The figure of years.

My dad used to walk Dun Laoghaire pier for years. He loved it. As he was getting older I used to walk it with him. We would walk all the way to the end, but as time went on we would only make it part way. Today we only got to the first seat because of his breathing. Not bad for an eighty six year old with memory problems. As he always says it's the 'figure of years'.
