After the Storm
Was a nice day today-few clouds and a nice temp after the week's rain. In the evening, thunderclouds rolled in and it began to pour. Literally. In three minutes, the arena was a violently rolling sea and the driveway was a river. The noise was amazing.
Oh, and the lighting was less than a mile away, so bright that it lit stuff like a flashlight in your eyes does. The thunder was really, really, really loud. Imagine the amount noise a four ton lead weight being dropped on an aluminum roof makes.
This pretty rainbow stretched all the way across the sky. I wonder if there is a pot of gold at the end.
Sorry about the lateness of the posting.
