Rescue

Today we took the afternoon off work for a team building exercise. Actually, I don't like that term - we did some fun stuff ;-)

One of our team is a Civil Defence volunteer and so he has access to a/ some cool places and b/ some cool gear. So we first did a rogaining exercise inside an old abandoned hospital. It was awesome!

Then we abseiled off the roof of the hospital, which if you have never jumped off the side of a building was exciting, exhilarating and for some people just plain ol' scary. But no one died and much fun was had. The photo is of two of the CD team in a "rescue".

And then. Off to the Speight's Ale House for beer. BTW all you UK people - there is one on its way to London ...
