Woodpecker

Spent mothers day down at my folks, it was kinda nice as we were all there which doesnt happen often. The drawback of a big family is that we are not often together, however its not always a bad thing.

Got some great shots of my niece Daisy flying her kite and some pictures of cows.

My mum and dad spend a small fortune on lavishing food on the birds and have had a couple of woodpeckers visit the last couple of years. They seemed a lot more agressive last year or maybe the other birds have got braver because there is now less of a marie celeste look when they appear on the scene. I must remember and email my dad this picture because I think he'd like it
