Hellfire Pass, Kanchanaburi, Thailand

A stretch of the Burma-Thailand Death Railway that was built by prisoners of war during the WWII was called Hellfire Pass. Over 100 000 men died while constructing the railway. In the picture you can see the former railway track bed.
