On our way

We got a later start than we expected on our trip to Portland today. The boys were not in the best of moods, so getting ready took much longer than usual.

We headed North but took the long route through beautiful valleys, past rivers and over mountains. I knitted the entire way and nearly forgot to take any photos at all. This was really the most interesting photo I could find in the roll. I experimented with water on the river, but it was really quite drab in the end.

We made it to Portland in the early evening, and checked in to our hotel. I took the boys swimming in the coldest indoor pool in the entire universe, while my husband scouted out some dinner.

After a pile of Thai cuisine, we hit the sack.
