Recycled Gems

On the way home from the petanque game I stopped at the RE Store, a place that recycles all kinds of building materials. I found these glass doorknobs, and saw a couple of other possibilities for future blips.

Even though we're supposed to be de-cluttering our the house, I couldn't resist buying one totally unnecessary, but charming and whimsical, item. C and I have been trying to guess its original use, and how it ended up in the RE Store.
