spring in the 'jing

One of the first sunny days in a while, and what we thought might be the beginning of spring in Beijing. Only two days later it snowed again, for a whole day, stranding my boyfriend and some other over-enthusiastic skiing friends somewhere north of the city. Many hours and some uncomfortable train-travelling later, they got home. Gone by the next day... (and none since- could this be it?)
