the Farsidehues farewell ride...
though this might not be his last ride in the city but it was his farewell ride...at least that's how it was conceptualized, whether it materialized like that or not, is a different question to ask. all the riders today had a liking towards offroad trails so we decided to hit one of the trails and then try and explore more in the area. I had a vague idea of where we would like to go for the ride but my experience tells me that you can never be really sure with these offroad trails. We took of in the intended direction but then thought of going somewhere else so we took a diversion. On the way, we saw a nice narrow trail disappearing into the green paddy fields - it was just too inviting to ignore. So we took another diversion and decided to continue on the trail, expecting to land up somewhere familiar in the end from where we can figure our way home. The morning was not hot, the breeze was good and the air fresh, in short, a perfect day and place for a morning ride. Nobody was in any sort of hurry and we took our own sweet time, stopping by the fields and riding slowly on the trails through them. Slowly signs of habitation started disappearing from either side of the track. Others were not sure of proceeding on the same track as it seemed to be leading nowhere. A few did contemplate of turning around and trace our path back. I was more interested in finding out what lies beyond the next visible turn. So we kept riding and to our surprise, finally landed up where were initially planning to go! I've read that earth is round but didn't realize that the circle is so small!
This was a good comeback ride for me. Today, it was not about the distance...it was about how much dirt we kicked off the ground. Photography was not really on my mind and I clicked just some random shots. Only when I reached home and check the pictures, I realized that I dont have anything good enough for blip but didn't really complain about it.
Got this photoshop CS4 link from a friend on FB. Quite interesting.
