What a difference the hour made today. Woke up not realizing that some clocks were changed and others weren't. It was sort of nice not knowing and really wouldn't have cared if it wasn't for needing to be a swimming party at a certain time. For the most part, today was a day of administrative stuff getting completed - fun fun fun.

The birthday party was for a very good friend of Charlotte. They have known each other since they were 3 years old having met at Playgroup and have always been complete opposites. Erin is loud, picks fights with the lads, is rough on and off the field, and is sent to the Head's office almost daily. Charlotte (up until this year) has always been the shy, laid back, and only visits to the Head office are to drop off or pick up paperwork for the teacher. But yet, they are the best of friends. Someone says something to Charlotte, and Erin punches them (seriously - we've been called into meetings because of it). Charlotte has always been the only one that Erin will listen to. It actually got to the point that up until this year, they have been in separate classes to help ease the situation and ensure the only time Erin body-guarded Charlotte was at lunch and breaks.

Happy 8th Erin. I have a feeling you'll be in Charlotte's life for many more years to come.
