Sharing the hot cross bun

Happy Easter Saturday. Reuben and Callum recreate the breaking of bread at the Last Supper.

The story of sharing. The three little hands of Reuben and Callum are magic to me as they share the traditional spicy bun, laden with a cross in remembrance of Christ's cross.

I'm so enjoying this Easter season and the religious symbolism here of the Holy Trinity. Although a very lapsed Catholic, I feel saddened when I can't fully embrace the great holy feasts and I think in doing so this year, I've felt such an inner warmth, peace and solace. It's been utterly uplifting.
