Saturday morning
Today I woke up pretty late on the weekend after a long time. Had a mild headache in the morning which told me that my routine is sort of getting messed up. I need to do some work to get it fixed. I decided not to make any plans for the day. Made some quick eggs and toast for breakfast, along with tea, and spent some luxurious time reading news. Farside and S were supposed to fly off to Delhi this evening after sending off the other luggage with the transporter in the morning. I knew other friends close-by would visit them. I had planned to call him after all, and somehow kept forgetting due to my laziness. I had made plans of cooking and having a light lunch by then, and then go for a swim the evening. The pool had been tempting me for long.
I then randomly decided to get online and caught up with LSP over chat. We had to plan a gift for Baba as well as he too would soon leave Hyderabad to go back to Pune. Two people leaving from this very interesting group would really bring us down to 4 people. We have to keep the group going along with our dreams and hobbies and it was a little disappointing to lose two people at nearly the same time. Though all of us understand that those who moved out had very clear goals in mind. Each has their own reason to move. We do respect that. And life does go on. You move on, meet new people, discover and learn new things and just keep going! Yes, as Farside warned, it is a little concerning for the more emotional among the group. It may be harder for them to move on so easily.
While I was online, LSP suddenly proposed that I go to Farside's place too. Being the farthermost in distance I had to give it some thought and decide quickly without wasting too much time. I finally called Farside and decided to go anyway. Yes, I did have to go and check on the progress in my apartment there as well, and I could do it today instead of tomorrow. But if I went today, I would be able to see off Farside and S along with the others. So, I started immediately and reached after battling some unexpected traffic. Had a quick lunch of some parathas I had requested Adda to order for me, and then we all had some nice time talking and clicking some photos before starting of. We also managed to eat the now-melted Lindt Dark Chocolate we gifted Farside the previous night along with his gift, as desert. It was a nice quick get together after which we all went our ways. Later Adda and LSP planned to go photo-shooting at the tombs. I wanted to join but couldn't as my camera had run out of battery. So I just went ahead and got some really long pending market survey for my new apartment, bought some interesting stuff, and now have a clearer idea of what I want to do in the apartment.
Overall, I thought this was a productive day. I did not laze around and waste time, instead got some important things done.
PS: I do love leaf tea a lot. Yesterday while selecting a gift at the Odyssey, Adda showed me the book of tea which had a similar photo in it. I just loved it and tried my own today. I know its nowhere close, but I just love the feel that tea leaves give me when I look at them :)
