All a blur
Just a blurry bedroom at the end of a very hectic day. With all the little settling down activities at work, and more so with all the calling for the internet connection. With so many departments at Airtel involved in doing the entire verification and setup process, there isn?t great communication between them. In fact, I see the same at work as well. Even most renowned software companies suffer due to a lack of coordination between various departments and units involved in the same project. There isn?t much of an overlap in perspective! A complete abstraction of this process from the client is far too much to expect. But sadly, the other alternative - complete transparency - isn?t available either! All that made things difficult and a lot of calling followed.
I felt so tired at the end of the day, I took my music for a walk outside. The headphones are a bit indiscreet but I didn?t bother. I didn?t even have time to change my clothes. Neither did I have a peaceful dinner. The whole process of preparing and having it was punctuated with phone calls and I was subsequently left with cold stuff on my plate. But as I walked out, on a windless night, I felt good. The green lawns seemed to radiate a kind of coolness. They felt a bit wet, but radiated life. I will remember sandalwood smells in the air, mixed with some natural flowers and I walked around that small spot over and over again. I went back to sleep awaiting a new day.
