Deuce and a Half

Since the weather is schlock today and there has been some interesting experimentation with grain and contrast by Chaos and My Angle , I thought I would do an over the top contrast and grain image today. This is an M35 2 1/2 ton surplus military cargo truck that was on a consignment lot on the way home from work.

K (Calico) starts high school tomorrow. For us, that pretty much is the functional end of summer as there are not good blocks of time to go anywhere other than the weekends. On que, the temperature dropped by 15 degrees and the cloud cover rolled in to remind us that Alaska winter is around the corner.

By the way, tomorrow will mark the 4th anniversary of the Scintilla family moving to Alaska.
