Sunny and hot

If I had no calender to tell me that we are on the verge of entering our winter season, it would have been hard to believe the fact with today's temperature at 28 degrees.

It seems that as much as winter is holding on to certain parts of this world (A2J and other blippers), so summer is having a ball on this side!

Early in the morning, the sound of the chopper going out towards the mountains, tells that the controlled burning of the vegetation is still going on. Today it came quite close and the flames were clearly visible. Smoke filled the air and with little wind about, it formed dark clouds that were taken away by draughts higher up.

Sunny and warm weather (29 degrees) is predicted for tomorrow, but by Thursday a sharp drop in temperatures is likely (16 degrees) - fortunately it may be accompanied by rain!
