book binding taster

Today was a fun day AND I have learned a new craft BOOK BINDING!

As part of the Glasgow International Artist's Bookfair there were taster sessions in book binding and I created 4 mini notebooks. For a first attempt I'm quite pleased with myself...even if my photography isn't exactly up to the mark.

The fair itself was amazing as it's easy to forget the art behind something we see, pick up and flick through every day. It was defintiely inspirational and I think I might have the bug to try out more techniques.
