Imago in the making ?

I found this in the garden , it was moving and squirming about, we thought maybe change was imminent, clearly not as still it lays and squirms about, you can see the wings and the eyes through the "shell" I believe it will become a moth, I am keeping it because i want to photograph its emergence . I am not keen on it to be honest its one of those creepy yet fascinating things I cannot stay away from even if it will give me nightmares


The significance of the moth is change. Caterpillar into chrysalis or pupa. From thence into beauty (Silence of the lambs) :D
