Easter Sunday

Okay, so I forgot about Easter Sunday. I promise, Tibet pictures are next.

It was a big day for me. Easter is huge for my mother. She's Greek Orthodox. For me and my Dad it's really just Lamb day (which is great too!). It was also my 24th birthday. I zipped over to Sanlitun to do some last minute shopping before my trip. And no, this wasn't one of my stops. I just love that Sanlitun is this weird combination of polished and demolished. On one side of the street you have the Apple store and American Apparel and then on the other you have some dive bar, a sex shop and a tattoo parlor. It's awesome for nights out. Drinks are anywhere between 8 and 500 kuai depending on the sort of crowd you want to mingle with.

This is an instant photo I took with my Diana. I've got a few more from today and earlier in the week. I have pretty much fallen in love with Diana cameras. I used to hate them. They are flimsy and overpriced and don't use up as much of the negative as a Holga, but I've officially been won over.
