An uninvited guest

I love the way that you can see his mouth open ready to eat the nut.

We've given up trying to discourage the 3 greedy squirrels from our garden so now accept that when we re-fill the peanut feeder the birds won't get a look in and will have to make do with bread, sunflower seeds and seed mix ( a healthier diet than mine!)

The intention was that the birds would have a regular feeding source, however now the squirrels have absolute faith that there will always be peanuts for them to snaffle - a tenuous link I know, but it's my first blip!
