...this alert, intelligent expression belies the fact that Archie has all the intellectual capacity of a baked bean.

He is however:
loyal - to anyone holding a biscuit
obedient - will come when called...eventually
and discerning - will only shed on expensive clothes

There's no doubt that the rescue centre saw us coming and not a day goes by when I don't rain threats and ultimatums down upon his fuzzy little head threatening to send him back there. But he knows, and I know, and he knows I know that will never really happen.
