M74 Update

The giant "handle" on the end of the westbound Eglinton viaduct, used to drag it into position, has been removed. Here's a time-lapse of how it was used. Not a particularly good video - the camera site isn't the best and there's a lot of rain.

Anyway, blue girders have been building up on the site for past few weeks, so I think there'll be a few being lifted into place soon. I presume this handle will be used again for the eastbound carriageway.
