Blacksmith's Needle

Went for a little trip down the Newcastle Quayside earlier and was wondering why loud speakers were cheering the crowd on. Turns out it was the 14th Newcastle v Durham University Boat Race on the Tyne, just wish I had remembered about it so that I could have prepared better. Still, didn't stick around for too long as the kids were getting restless (considering they had new toys to play with once we got home...).
