Turnign red

Red is just a phase for the new sprouts of the goat's beard, eventually it will be green just like a normal plant.

There are three of them in a row, three shrubs. And they always start growing in the same order, from left to right. Or, to make it more logical, from the left end of the flowerbed where they get the most light & warmth, gradually inwards towards the house.
