Downtown Atlanta from I-75

We left home about 9 am this morning for a week's vacation in Florida. The "We" being Laura and her college room-mate, Kelli, Roger and myself. Our eldest daughter Jen and her husband Jason are driving over from Texas to join us there. Navigation is pretty simple - Interstate 75 all the way, to within about 30 minutes of our destination! The weather was sunny and dry, and we encountered no major hold-ups until we came to Atlanta at rush hour! Even then it wasnt too bad. At one point through the downtown area, the I-75 has 7 lanes of traffic in each direction! We reached our overnight stop, near Valdosta in the south of the state, about 10.30, having stopped for dinner.
