Common Starling

I tried to take photos of European Pied Flycatcher (kirjosieppo) which is nesting in the birdhouses in our garden. No success. So I went to walk by the river. I've stopped every time by this tree where I knew was a hole because couple of years ago I saw European Pied Flycatcher nesting there. So I stopped now too and waited for a while and was quite surprised to see starling (kottarainen) coming to the nest. They used to be very common but are not anymore at least in this up north where we don't even have decent fields.
