Flowers
First, thanks to those who commented on yesterday's blip and asked how it felt for me to be back in Sweden after 3 months in South Africa.
Well, I wish it was so easy to answer. I loved being in Knysna. Life suits me perfectly over there: My boys were happy, the weather was fantastic, and the area beautiful.
However the boys are very happy to be home again. The weather has been kind to us and we live in a beautiful place (hopefully I will start capturing some images to show you). I will take some time to really know how I feel -- there are a lot of memories here for me, many of them wonderful and many of them painful.
I was in a meditation class all day today and snapped this image of an unknown flower (in a tree which was around head hight). I also took some images of the millions of cherry blossoms coming out, but the light was a bit dark so maybe I will go back there and use them for another blip.
It is very handy having the iPhone to take images and to post them, but I can see that I need to check my in camera cropping a bit more closely before shooting.
Actually I decided I didn't care for the image too much and have replaced it with this one taken from the side of the tree. I have very little experience taking images of flowers, and the iPhone is perhaps not the easiest camera to capture them with, so I see that I have some work to do here.
