Need a drink....

Since children I've not really got back in to alcohol. I normally say 'I don't drink'. I can however be swayed by Pimms (as above), champagne & some cocktails.

Today I married two couples. I really got in to the flow today, relaxed, slowed down & enjoyed them both. Only one mistake at the end of the first one. I said, 'Please be upstanding for the departure of your bride groom Mr & Mr XXXXX'. Whoops.... After the second wedding the father of the Groom came over & said what a lovely service it was. That's the first time that's happened.... Nice.....

I then got home & decided to sort out Big Daughter's bedroom as my (will be by then) 90 year old Nan is travelling down from Blipland for my 40th birthday next month and is stopping the night. Two hours & 3 black bin bags later it was done. Boy did I need a Pimms....
