Not Fade Away
Come with me. Let's hit the town.
We'll rock this place. We'll tear it down.
We'll dance on the rooftops, roll on the ground,
light up the skies, as we laugh at the sound
of the clock
ticking tocking and taunting -
a frown
on its face
as the night rushes in, and the sun slowly drowns
in our west.
The colors will fade and the shadows will come.
The light becomes greyed as the beat of the drum
starts to slow.
But we'll dance on the rooftops.
We'll light up the skies.
We'll stand our ground.
We won't close our eyes.
We'll face the darkness
all the way down
together.
And not fade away.

Loads of once-in-a-lifetime pictures have gone virtually unobserved and many of the best photographers seem to have faded into the crowds. - Treegonk
In light of Treegonk's thoughts in his final(?) blip, and the discussion going on over at Benek's page about how to improve the Blip system and keep this from happening, I've decided to try to find one blip every day that I think is worthwhile, but that has received little attention, and provide a link.
You may or may not click through, but it'll be my way of shining a little light on some of those toiling in obscurity around here.
Thus I give you today a beautiful cityscape from Incidental Music. It's been viewed only 40 times as I write this, with no comments but my own.
