Monet Splash
Well here I go again with my impressionistic look. I just seem to be drawn to these kind of shots. Maybe it's because I love water so much and water was very much a part of impressionism. At least that is my explanation---sounds good, doesn't it?
Looks much better in large.
We have had so much rain lately, I just could not find anything to shot today and as I was walking out of he building where I work with my boss, I noticed that the water from the next building was pouring off the roof and landing with a splash on some rocks next to the building. I told my boss "I will be awhile, I'm going to take some shots of this water". Needless to say, she did not wait around for me.
I think photography has made me a different person, at least in the way I look at things and see the things around me. I have been an artist for quite a few years, but photography gives you a different perspective on things. I'm sure it will help with my art work too. At least I will have a huge supply of material for my paintings and drawings.
I'm actually getting done with this a little early tonight. Maybe I can get to bed early--if I don't get sidetracked by something else.
Happy Friday to eveyone.
