Happiness is a warm puppy

Nothing is better for sore gums and feeling tired and grumpy than a big cuddle from Fudge! This was a rare moment where Fudge actually looked like he was enjoying it, and didn't try to scarper away under the table when Kerr approached him.

Kerr is 9 months old today.

His crawling is starting to resemble a normal style, but could still be described as commando as he's not quite there yet.

In the past couple of days he has become much more adventurous. This morning I turned away for a few seconds while preparing his breakfast. When I turned back, he was standing up in the highchair leaning over the back of it watching Fudge eat his breakfast!! I have never bothered with the highchair straps before now - looks like that will have to change pronto!

He has also managed to stand up in his cot and tries to cruise around it, but usually fails, and we hear a big thud followed by tears before he picks himself up and tries again.

Today for the first time he has kind of been clapping his hands when I do - however he claps the back of his left hand with the palm of his right, so not mastered it properly yet.

Wow, what an exhausting time for a wee guy! No wonder he is shattered by 7pm after practising all these new tasks and adventures!
