A tribute to the Rainbow Nation

This Hibiscus 'Fifth Dimension' started flowering today - perfect timing! Today the Soccer World Cup starts in South Africa, M's 'country of origin'. Who would have thought it was possible twenty years ago?

These two flowers are about 20 cm in diameter - they are the first of 23 buds to open. We hope the next 21 will be as gorgeous as these two.
