Manatee

When I was in Florida last week I was hoping to capture some pictures of that state's unique wildlife...critters we don't see here in Ohio. Was I ever excited when this manatee showed up at a dock just a few houses down from my sister's condo. The owner of the house was hosing down his boat when the manatee showed up and began to drink the water spraying from the hose. AND... she had a baby with her. In the picture, she has rolled over onto her back and is happily floating as the boat owner sprays water into her mouth. Her nose is nearest to the bottom of the picture.
