Abundance
Sometimes, a bowl of cherries from the garden is all I need to be happy.
Our cherries have arrived en masse, and as usual it's a race to see who gets to eat the most - the neighbour's blasted pigeons, our dog Mia, or me. Mia's in the lead so far. That silly dog has eaten so many cherries she's beginning to resemble a log. I hope she doesn't suffer an attack of gastric bloat. T had to rake all the cherries on the ground to stop her from eating more. He gathered an entire barrow load of fallen cherries (mostly crushed or fermenting, and therefore unusable to us) and dumped them on the other side of the fence where she can't get to them. The wasps will have a field day and she'll be annoyed, I'm sure.
Your kindhearted comments about yesterday's bad news have brought me great comfort, so thank you! Things are looking much better today. xx
