Time Flies

We went for a long walk along the headland this morning and passed by the Air India Disaster memorial again. I wanted to try and capture a little of the beauty and specialness of the place. I've failed miserably but this gives a little idea of the uniqueness of the spot. As well as a wall with the names of all 331 victims engraved upon it there is this magnificent sundial. It has a special mark that casts a shadow at exactly 8.13am on June 23rd, the time the bomb exploded.
Around the rim is carved these words:
Time flies,
suns rise and shadows fall.
Let it pass by.
Love reigns forever, over all.
