Things that have always been.
A statue from our garden. She has been there for a long time, as you can see from the moss on her face. She was there before I was even born, I think. Anyway, for me she's been there forever :D
I'm still recovering a bit from last weekend's Tuska. It's a metal festival located in Kaisaniemi park, right next to the Helsinki Central Railway Station. 'Though this was the last year Tuska was arranged there, because Kaisaniemi park is being renovated so Tuska (as well as all other events) has to move...
Tuska was superb as expected. It's always great when Helsinki (or at least the railway station) is full of metalheads :D I couldn't take my SLR with me ofc, but I got some photos with my little Olympus. The problem with that is that I've lost the USB-cord for the Olympus so I always have to find a computer with a working card-reader to get the photos :D (my computer's card-reader is busted)
I saw Satyricon, Finntroll, Cannibal Corpse (:DD:D) and ZILTOID THE OMNISCIENT! Plus a ton of other bands. It was a shame that Finntroll and Turmion Kätilöt ("The Midwives of Ruin" although it doesn't sound that funny in Finnish :D) played at the same time so I couldn't see them both :/ I heard that Turmion Kätilöt picked someone from the crowd and whipped him stage durign the song Kärsi (=Suffer). Not so odd considering the usual Turmion Kätilöt gig :D (Kärsi live in Youtube, watch from ~5 minutes forward and you'll probably understand :D)
Btw, I want to order Angelspit's album (and enemy of the Sun's new album), but I don't really have the money for that. This sucks :/
