Pioneer Peak
Today was a politically messy day at work. Not much fun.
What was fun, however, was working with Scintilla.
Yesterday, on the way to lunch, Scintilla spotted a hanging valley from across the Hay Flats from where we work. "I'm going to go shot that, great blip." he said. And so he did.
Today he looks and the same valley again, and says, "I'm going to shoot that again, this time with color." The sun was out so there was a big change from yesterday.
I said, "I am going to go to a road near the Butte where the trees frame Pioneer Peak."
"Where's that?" he says.
Am I protective of my potential blips? I tell him where it is, (but I know I can get there first. Haha! :)))
I thought it interesting because all of our blips are like tiny little memorials of the last so many months. When you are driving down most any road in the Valley you can see the previous blip sites, "There's one, there's one, there's the barn!" and so on.
Haha! So much fun!
It was another late day at work today. After the blip capture I had to go back to work to deal with some more of the messy political stuff. Thanks so much for leaving your kind comments, I promise I will be able to get out and catch up with all of you again real soon!
