Well if Ethan isn't using it any more, Leia will!
So much for my hopes that Ethan would have 2 good nights sleep in a row. Last night was one of the worst ever! Bed at 7.30pm. Awake at 10pm and then approx every 2 hours after that! At least he did go back to sleep after his feeds each time until he woke at 5am when he wouldn't settle again. By then I was at the "I just can't get up again" stage and was practically begging hubbie to phone in sick so he could look after him while I got some shut eye! Luckily after about an hour, Ethan did fall asleep beside me on the bed until 8am so by then I felt slightly more human.
I met one of the other mummies I've befriended through Baby Sensory for a cuppa at The Centre this morning. Had a good 2 hours catch up with her and felt great getting out the house.
Just after we got back home hubbie turned up. He had obviously felt so sorry for me he had taken a half day off work and said it was on the condition I went back to bed. So I did! I didn't manage to sleep much but boy did it feel good to curl up in bed in the afternoon for a few hours!
At teatime we had our first "family meal" in the dining room. We even ate the same as Ethan although ours was as a soup rather than the pureed version he had. He did really well and ate loads, especially pudding, which he is becoming very partial to! Here's hoping the copious amounts of food he has consumed today will help him sleep tonight.
